For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Mammalian apurinic/apyrimidinic endonuclease (APE/ref-1) is a multifunctional enzyme involved in DNA repair and redox regulation of transcription factors (Fos, Jun, NF-κB, Myb, HIF-1α, CREB, Pax).
APE repairs abasic sites in DNA caused by oxidative stress, radiation, or chemical agents. It is differentially expressed across tissues and developmental stages, and its activity is regulated by phosphorylation via casein kinase II.
Increased APE expression is observed upon reoxygenation of hypoxic cells and in certain malignant tissues, while decreased expression is associated with apoptosis induction.
