Product Specific Information
The HI100 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD45RA, a 220 kDa molecule expressed by subpopulations of CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ peripheral T lymphocytes and B cells. CD45RA⁺ T cells are mainly naive/virgin, allowing the use of HI100 mAb as a phenotypic marker to discriminate T cell subsets.

- Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested for flow cytometry using normal human peripheral blood cells
- Recommended Usage: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)
- Fluorochrome: eFluor® 506 (Excitation 405 nm, Emission 506 nm)
- Recommended Filter: 510/20 band pass filter or equivalent
- Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered
Target Information
CD45RA is an isoform of the CD45 complex, a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells except mature red cells. It regulates Src-family kinases and is essential for lymphocyte development and antigen signaling. CD45 isoforms differ by alternative splicing and are associated with various immunological functions. Dysregulation of CD45 is linked to diseases such as severe combined immunodeficiency and Hepatitis C.
