Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAPKAPK5 (PRAK) is activated in response to cellular stress and pro-inflammatory cytokines. Its activity is regulated by p38 alpha and p38 beta MAP kinases. The PRAK protein belongs to the serine/threonine kinase family and phosphorylates heat shock protein HSP27 at physiologically relevant sites. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
