Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAPKAPK5 (PRAK) is activated in response to cellular stress and pro-inflammatory cytokines.
Its activity is regulated by p38 alpha and p38 beta. The encoded protein belongs to the serine/threonine kinase family and phosphorylates heat shock protein HSP27 at physiologically relevant sites.
Two alternately spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
