Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final concentration of ~1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAPKAPK5 (PRAK) is activated in response to cellular stress and pro-inflammatory cytokines.
Its activity is regulated by p38α and p38β MAP kinases.
MAPKAPK5 belongs to the serine/threonine kinase family and phosphorylates HSP27 at physiologically relevant sites.
Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
