STAT5 alpha는 IL2, IL3, IL7, GM-CSF, erythropoietin, thrombopoietin 등 다양한 리간드 반응을 매개하며, TEL/JAK2 융합 유전자와 관련된 종양 발생에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
Mouse STAT5 alpha는 BCL2L1/BCL-X(L) 발현을 유도하여 항아포토시스 기능을 가지며, STAT5 beta와 함께 대부분의 조직에서 공발현됩니다.
STAT5 alpha는 생식, 수유, 면역 기능 및 체성 성장 등 다양한 생리적 과정에 관여합니다.
