NTRK2 (TrkB)는 뇌유래신경영양인자(BDNF)의 수용체로, 신경계의 발달 및 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다. TrkB는 세포막 수용체로서, 뉴로트로핀 결합 시 자가 인산화 및 MAPK 경로 단백질의 인산화를 유도하여 세포 분화 신호를 전달합니다. BDNF와 NT-3는 TrkB의 티로신 인산화를 유도하지만, BDNF의 반응 강도가 NT-3보다 훨씬 큽니다. TrkB 유전자의 변이는 비만 및 기분장애와 관련이 있으며, 다양한 전사적 스플라이스 변형체가 존재합니다.
