Product Specific Information
The antibody reacts with mouse lymphotoxin-beta receptor (LTBR). Expression of LTBR mRNA is strong in lung, liver, and kidney; moderate in heart and testes; weak in brain, thymus, spleen, and lymph nodes. The human receptor for the LT-alpha/LT-beta heterotrimer (LT-alpha1beta2) participates in immunologic reactions via cell-cell contact but does not bind TNFR1 or TNFR2. LTBR expression begins at day 7 of embryogenesis, suggesting a role in early development.
Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested on NIH/3T3 cells; optimal at ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number should be empirically determined (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Titrate for best assay performance.

Target Information
The LTβR protein is a member of the TNF receptor family, expressed on most cell types except T and B lymphocytes. It binds the membrane form of lymphotoxin (LTα/LTβ complex) and plays a role in lymphoid tissue development and organization, as well as in apoptosis induction upon activation.
