Product #35500 has been successfully used in Western blot, IF, ICC, IHC, IP, and FACS applications.
This antibody reacts with the heavy chains of mouse IgG and with the light chains common to most mouse immunoglobulins, but does not react against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins.
It has been tested by solid-phase adsorption to ensure minimal cross-reactivity with human, bovine, horse, rabbit, swine, goat, and rat serum proteins. However, cross-reactivity with immunoglobulins from other species may occur.

Store product protected from light at 4°C until opened.
To extend shelf life, add an equal volume of glycerol (final concentration ~50%) and store at -20°C.
DyLight 405 Amax = 400 nm; Emax = 420 nm. Mole Dye/Mole Protein Ratio is lot-dependent.

They are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation).
