Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody AT130-2 reacts with mouse CD32b (FcγRIIb), the only inhibitory member of the Fc-gamma receptor family. Engagement of CD32b leads to phosphorylation of its intracellular ITIM motif, attenuating B cell receptor (BCR) signaling, reducing proliferation and antibody production, and potentially inducing apoptosis.

CD32b is expressed on B cells, monocytes, dendritic cells, neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils, B cell progenitors, and plasma cells.
AT130-2 has been reported to have agonist activity.

• Applications Tested: Flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes, ≤0.5 µg/test
  • A test is defined as staining a cell sample (10⁵–10⁸ cells) in 100 µL final volume.
  • Antibody should be titrated for optimal performance.

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the immunoglobulin Fc receptor family found on immune response cells. The protein is a cell surface receptor on phagocytic cells (macrophages, neutrophils) involved in phagocytosis and immune complex clearance. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
