Unit definition

One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that incorporates 1 nmol of [3H]dTTP in 10 minutes at 37°C, using poly (rA)･oligo (dT)12–18 as the primer-template.

Quality control testing

PrimeScript II Reverse Transcriptase is subjected to quality control testing using a 1st Strand cDNA Synthesis Test designed to assess performance for synthesis of a 13 kb cDNA product, as well as three different purity tests.
