Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody 3DS304M recognizes mouse CD304 (Neuropilin-1), a type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on regulatory T cells (Treg), NKT cells, dendritic cells, stem cells, neurons, endothelial cells, and certain neoplastic cells.
Neuropilin-1 acts as a co-receptor for type 3 semaphorins and participates in angiogenesis as part of the VEGF receptor complex. In mice, it is expressed on thymus-derived natural Treg but not on peripherally induced Treg. Transient expression has been observed on recently activated non-regulatory T cells.

This antibody recognizes formaldehyde-fixed and methanol-treated epitopes.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes; ≤0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration recommended.

Light Sensitivity: Protect from light; tandem dye is photo-sensitive.
Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.
Excitation: 488–561 nm; Emission: 775 nm; Laser: Blue, Green, Yellow-Green.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.


Target Information

Neuropilin-1 is a 923-amino acid membrane-bound co-receptor belonging to the neuropilin family, containing two CUB domains, two F5/8 type C domains, and a MAM domain. It forms heterodimers with Neuropilin-2 (NRP2) and binds to plexin (PLXNB1) to form semaphorin receptors.
Primarily expressed in the nervous system, Neuropilin-1 is involved in cardiovascular development, angiogenesis, axon guidance, neuronal circuit formation, cell survival, and organogenesis. It also functions as a receptor for semaphorins and VEGF, regulating VEGF-induced angiogenesis.
Neuropilin-1 expression may be associated with advanced prostate carcinoma and breast cancer progression.
