Target Information
CD15 (Lewis X, Le(x); stage specific embryonic antigen-1, SSEA-1)는 3-fucosyl-N-acetyllactosamine 구조를 가진 트리사카라이드 항원으로, 다양한 세포 유형(예: 호중구, 비만세포, 단핵세포, 대식세포, 위점막세포, 신경계 세포 및 종양세포)에서 발현됩니다.
Lewis X의 변형체로 sialyl-Lewis X 및 sulphated Lewis X 등이 있으며, Le(x) 항원이 높은 세포는 칼슘 의존적 상호작용을 통해 자가 응집을 나타냅니다. 이러한 과정은 배아 응집 및 teratocarcinoma 세포의 자가 응집에 관여합니다.
Sialyl-Le(x)와 sialyl-Le(a)는 selectin의 리간드로 작용하며, CD15 발현은 Hodgkin 병의 진단 확인에 널리 사용됩니다.
