Product Specific Information

This 7-517 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD276 (B7-H3), a type I transmembrane protein expressed on immature and mature dendritic cells, but not on monocytes, granulocytes, or resting lymphocytes. It can be induced on dendritic cells, monocytes, T, B, and NK cells. CD276 binds activated T cells, promoting proliferation and IFN-γ production.

Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on human monocyte-derived dendritic cells at 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test.
A test is defined as the amount of antibody used for staining a 100 µL cell sample (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Light Sensitivity: Tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation; protect from light.
Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-822-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.

Target Information

CD276 (B7-H3) is a member of the B7 family of co-stimulatory molecules. It induces proliferation of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, enhances cytotoxic T cell generation, and stimulates interferon gamma production. Expression can be induced by inflammatory cytokines and is found in various tissues including heart, kidney, testis, and colon. In humans, CD276 has two isoforms due to gene duplication and splicing. It holds therapeutic potential in regulating immune responses to cancer, especially with anti-angiogenic therapy.
