Product Specific Information
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes. Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 10 minutes at room temperature.
A suggested positive control is brain tissue.

Glycogen synthase kinase 3 alpha (GSK3A) is a multifunctional protein serine/threonine kinase implicated in the control of several regulatory proteins and transcription factors.

Human GSTs can be divided into five main classes: alpha, mu, pi, theta, and zeta. The theta class includes GSTT1 and GSTT2. The GSTT1 and GSTT2 share 55% amino acid sequence identity and both are implicated in human carcinogenesis. The GSTT1 gene is located approximately 50 kb away from the GSTT2 gene, and both genes have similar structures composed of five exons with identical exon/intron boundaries.
