Target Information
Bromodeoxyuridine (5-bromo-2-deoxyuridine, BrdU)는 티미딘의 합성 유사체로, 증식 중인 세포의 DNA 합성 단계(S phase) 동안 새로 합성되는 DNA에 삽입될 수 있습니다. BrdU 특이적 항체를 사용하면 삽입된 BrdU를 검출하여 DNA를 활발히 복제 중인 세포를 식별할 수 있습니다. 항체 결합을 위해서는 일반적으로 산 또는 열을 이용한 DNA 변성이 필요합니다.
