Target Information
Rab 단백질은 세포 내 소포 수송에 관여하는 Ras 유사 GTPase 계열 단백질입니다. 40종 이상의 Rab 단백질은 세포 내 다양한 구획 간의 소포 도킹 및 융합을 조절합니다. Rab9은 만노스-6-인산 수용체를 후기 엔도좀에서 trans-Golgi network(TGN)으로 이동시키는 데 필요합니다. 이를 통해 세포는 수송 관련 구성 요소를 효율적으로 재활용할 수 있습니다. Rab9은 C-말단의 두 개의 20-탄소 geranylgeranyl 그룹에 의해 프레닐화되어야 하며, 대부분 막에 결합되어 있으나 약 10–20%는 세포질 내 GDI-alpha에 결합되어 있습니다. GDI는 GDP 결합된 Rab9을 원래의 막으로 재활용하는 역할을 합니다.
