Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP)는 수지상세포의 성숙 및 활성화를 유도하는 중요한 인자로, 조절 T 세포의 선택과 CD4+ T 세포 항상성 유지, 알레르기 반응 유도에 관여합니다. 또한 태아 간 및 성체 B 세포 전구체의 성장과 IgM 양성 단계로의 분화를 지원합니다.
TSLP 수용체(TSLP-R)는 TSLP와 낮은 친화도로 결합하며, IL-7Rα와 함께 공동 발현 시 높은 친화도의 기능적 이합체 복합체를 형성합니다. 이 수용체는 TSLP 매개 신호전달에 STAT5를 필요로 하며, SOCS-1에 의해 억제됩니다.
