Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human FGF acidic, FGF basic, FGF-4, FGF-5, FGF-6, FGF-7, recombinant mouse FGF-8b, FGF-8c, human FGF-9, FGF-10, mouse FGF-15, human FGF-17, and FGF-18 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).

FGF19 (Fibroblast Growth Factor 19)는 인간의 FGF19 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질로, fibroblast growth factor (FGF) 패밀리에 속합니다.
FGF19 유전자는 염색체 11q13.3에 위치하며, 216개의 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질은 FGF 패밀리에서 보존된 시스테인 잔기를 포함합니다.
이 유전자는 태아 뇌 조직에서만 발현되며, Wnt-8c와의 상호작용을 통해 내이 발달의 시작에 관여합니다.
FGF19는 간에서 단백질 및 글리코겐 합성을 자극하지만 지방 합성을 유도하지 않으며, 인슐린 또는 Akt 경로와는 독립적으로 MAPK 신호 전달 경로를 통해 작용합니다.
생쥐의 상동 단백질은 FGF15로, 약 50%의 아미노산 서열 유사성을 가지며 유사한 기능을 수행합니다. 이들은 종종 FGF15/19로 함께 언급됩니다.
