Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAP2K1 (MEK1) is a dual-specificity protein kinase functioning in the MAPK cascade, regulating cell growth and differentiation. It is activated by various growth factors, cytokines, and calcium influx. MEK1 activation occurs through phosphorylation at serine residues 218 and 222 by Raf1. It plays roles in stress responses, apoptosis, and cytokine-induced proliferation. Mutations in MAP2K1 can lead to cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome.
