Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
FKBP5 is a member of the immunophilin protein family, involved in immunoregulation and cellular processes such as protein folding and trafficking. It functions as a cis-trans prolyl isomerase that binds FK506 and rapamycin, mediating calcineurin inhibition. FKBP5 interacts with mature hetero-oligomeric progesterone receptor complexes alongside HSP90 and P23 proteins. The FKBP5 gene contains multiple polyadenylation sites and undergoes alternative splicing, resulting in several transcript variants.
