Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-1RA. Anti-Human IL-1RA-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human IL-1RA matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human IL-1RA by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human IL-1RA (500-P209Bt) as a detection antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human IL-1RA.

Western Blot:
To detect Human IL-1RA by Western Blot, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-1RA is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine receptor belonging to the interleukin 1 receptor family. It acts as a receptor for interleukin alpha (IL1A), interleukin beta (IL1B), and interleukin 1 receptor type I (IL1R1/IL1RA). It plays a key role in cytokine-induced immune and inflammatory responses. This gene, along with IL1R2, IL1RL2, and IL1RL1, forms a cytokine receptor gene cluster mapped to chromosome 2q12.
