For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD47 (integrin-associated protein, IAP) is a ubiquitously expressed transmembrane glycoprotein that interacts with several integrins and regulates their functions. It modulates signaling pathways including activation of heterotrimeric G proteins and intracellular calcium increase during cell adhesion. CD47 also serves as a receptor for the C-terminal domain of thrombospondin and plays roles in membrane transport, signal transduction, and immune regulation.
CD47 interacts with CD172a (SIRPα) on macrophages, preventing phagocytosis of CD47-positive cells. It influences cell migration, B cell adhesion, T cell activation, chondrocyte mechanotransduction, and neuronal development, being abundant in synapse-rich regions of brain and retina.
