Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.

Ferritin은 세포 내 철 저장 단백질로, prokaryote 및 eukaryote 모두에서 발견됩니다. 이 단백질은 heavy chain과 light chain으로 구성된 24개의 서브유닛으로 이루어져 있으며, subunit 조성의 변화는 조직별 철 흡수 및 방출 속도에 영향을 미칠 수 있습니다. 주요 기능은 철을 용해성이고 독성이 없는 상태로 저장하는 것입니다. Light chain ferritin 유전자의 결함은 여러 신경퇴행성 질환 및 hyperferritinemia-cataract syndrome과 관련이 있습니다. 이 유전자는 다수의 pseudogene을 포함합니다.
