- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): 항체를 실온에서 30분간 반응시킵니다.
- 포르말린 고정 조직 염색 시, 10 mM Tris 및 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) 용액에서 95°C, 45분간 가열 후 실온에서 20분간 냉각합니다.

Ferritin Light Chain 유전자는 ferritin 단백질의 light subunit을 암호화합니다. Ferritin은 원핵 및 진핵세포에서 주요 세포 내 철 저장 단백질로, heavy 및 light chain의 24개 소단위체로 구성됩니다. Ferritin 조성의 변화는 조직별 철 흡수 및 방출 속도에 영향을 줄 수 있습니다. 주요 기능은 철을 용해성이고 무독성 상태로 저장하는 것입니다. 이 유전자의 결함은 여러 신경퇴행성 질환 및 hyperferritinemia-cataract syndrome과 관련이 있습니다. 또한 다수의 pseudogene이 존재합니다.
