Target Information
Mesothelin은 중피세포에서 주로 발현되는 GPI-anchored 세포 표면 당단백질로, mesothelioma, 난소암, 췌장암 등 다양한 암에서 과발현되는 것으로 보고되었습니다. 정상 조직에서는 제한적으로 발현되지만, 암세포에서는 높은 수준으로 발현되어 종양 형성과 전이에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. Mesothelin의 단백질 절단 산물인 megakaryocyte potentiating factor (MPF)는 혈소판 생성 및 골수세포 분화 조절에 관련된 것으로 제안되었습니다.
