Target Information
PPAR gamma는 peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) 핵수용체 하위군의 구성원으로, retinoid X receptor (RXR)와 이합체를 형성하여 다양한 유전자의 전사를 조절합니다.
PPAR-alpha, PPAR-delta, PPAR-gamma의 세 가지 아형이 알려져 있으며, PPAR-gamma는 지방세포 분화 조절자로 작용합니다. 또한 비만, 당뇨병, 동맥경화증 및 암 등의 질병 병리와 관련되어 있습니다.
다양한 스플라이스 변이체가 보고되어 있으며, 서로 다른 아이소폼을 암호화합니다.
