Description:
The 13MOKA monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD213 alpha 1 (interleukin-13 receptor alpha 1, IL-13Ra1). CD213a1 is the low-affinity IL-13 receptor that mediates normal IL-13 inflammatory signaling. It binds IL-13 and recruits CD124 (IL-4Rα) to form the active signaling complex. The CD213a1/CD124 complex can also serve as a receptor for IL-4. CD213a1 is expressed on activated B and T cells and other cell types.

Applications Reported:
This antibody is reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Tested on mouse splenocytes stimulated for 3 days with Anti-CD3 and Anti-CD28 Functional Grade antibodies. Recommended use ≤ 0.5 µg per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Antibody titration is recommended for optimal performance.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of the interleukin 13 receptor. It forms a receptor complex with IL4 receptor alpha, serving as a primary IL13-binding subunit. This protein binds tyrosine kinase TYK2 and may mediate signaling leading to activation of JAK1, STAT3, and STAT6 induced by IL13 and IL4.
