Isovaleryl-CoA dehydrogenase (IVD)는 류신 대사 과정의 세 번째 단계를 촉매하는 미토콘드리아 효소입니다. IVD 유전자의 결핍은 isovaleric acid의 축적을 초래하며, 이는 중추신경계에 독성을 나타내어 isovaleric acidemia로 이어질 수 있습니다.
