Target Information
PSA(Prostate Specific Antigen)는 전립선 상피에서 생성되는 키모트립신 유사 세린 프로테아제(kallikrein family)로, 정액에서 풍부하게 존재합니다. PSA는 전립선암 환자의 혈청에서도 검출되며, 주로 간에서 유래한 세린 프로테아제 억제제인 α1-antichymotrypsin(ACT)과 복합체를 형성합니다. 전립선암에서는 양성 전립선 비대증보다 더 많은 PSA가 ACT와 결합되어 있습니다.
PSA는 원발성 및 전이성 암에서 전립선 선세포 기원을 확인하고 비전립선성 암 모방체를 배제하는 데 사용됩니다.
