Target Information
Atrophin-1은 polyglutamine 반복을 포함하며, 이 반복의 확장은 dentatorubral 및 pallidoluysian atrophy를 유발합니다. 이 단백질은 atrophin-1과 상호작용하며, NEDD4 유사 단백질 패밀리의 일원으로 E3 ubiquitin-ligase 기능을 수행합니다.
이 패밀리의 단백질은 단백질을 proteasome 또는 lysosome으로 타깃팅하는 주요 trafficking 결정을 조절합니다. ITCH 단백질은 4개의 WW 도메인과 HECT 도메인을 포함하며, p45/NFE2의 전사 공동억제자로 작용할 수 있습니다. 또한 Notch 매개 신호를 조절하여 면역 반응 조절에 관여할 수 있습니다.
Mouse Itch 단백질과 높은 유사성을 가지며, erythroid 및 lymphoid 세포의 조절과 분화에 관여한다고 알려져 있습니다.
