Product Specific Information
PA1-313은 Western blot 및 immunohistochemistry에서 성공적으로 사용되었습니다. Western blot에서 rat brain homogenate의 ER beta (~55 kDa)을 검출하며, rat prostate의 면역조직화학 염색에서는 핵 내 염색을 나타냅니다. 그러나 인간 조직에서는 핵 염색이 관찰되지 않을 수 있습니다.
이 항체의 면역원은 human ER beta의 아미노산 잔기 C(459)-Q(477)에 해당하는 합성 펩타이드입니다.
중화 및 대조 실험용으로 PA1-313 면역 펩타이드 (Cat. # PEP-029)를 사용할 수 있습니다.
또한 Western blot 및 gel shift assay의 대조 실험용으로 baculovirus 시스템에서 발현된 재조합 ER beta (Cat. # RP-311, RP-312)를 구입할 수 있습니다.
Target Information
Estrogen Receptor beta (ER beta, NR3A2)는 약 55 kDa의 단백질이며, 36–59 kDa 범위의 다양한 isoform이 보고되었습니다. 인간 ER beta는 처음으로 고환에서 클로닝 및 특성화되었습니다.
Estrogen receptor는 steroid/thyroid 호르몬 수용체 초가족에 속하는 핵 수용체로, 에스트로겐 결합 시 전사 활성화 인자로 작용합니다.
ER alpha와 ER beta는 각각 ESR1, ESR2 유전자에 의해 암호화되며, ER beta는 에스트로겐 결합 친화도가 ER alpha와 유사합니다. 일부 ER beta isoform은 생식 조직에서 ER alpha의 활성을 억제하기도 합니다.
ER beta는 전신의 다양한 조직에 존재하며, 종양 억제 인자로 작용하여 전립선암, 자폐 스펙트럼 장애, 수질 갑상선암, 드퀘르벵병, 심혈관 질환 위험 등과 관련이 있습니다.
