Product Specific Information
The DJR2-4 monoclonal antibody reacts with human DR5 (TRAIL-R2, Apo2, TRICK2, KILLER). DR5 binds to TRAIL, activates NF-kappaB, and induces TRAIL-mediated apoptosis. It is broadly expressed in normal tissues and various tumor cells.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested with human MOLT-4 cell line and DR5-transfected cells at ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Titrate for optimal performance.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
DR5 (Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, KILLER) is a death domain-containing receptor for TRAIL, mediating TRAIL-induced apoptosis. It belongs to the TNF-receptor superfamily and transduces apoptosis signals via FADD. Two transcript variants and one non-coding transcript are known. Overexpression induces apoptosis and NF-kappaB activation. Highly expressed in lymphocytes and spleen.
Diseases associated with DR5 dysfunction include squamous cell carcinoma and diffuse infiltrative lymphocytosis syndrome.
