Product Specific Information

The eBio13G3-19D monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Ly108, the mouse homologue of human SLAMF6. Ly108 (also known as NTB-A) is expressed on NK, T, and B cells. Engagement of Ly108 enhances NK cell activity and IFN-γ expression and is involved in immune regulation.

No strain differences were observed between C57BL/6 and BALB/c mice; other strains not tested.
Each product includes one vial of NovaFluor conjugate and one vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer.

Applications

• Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
• Tested on mouse splenocytes and thymocytes at ≤ 0.8 µg/test (100 µL final volume).
  Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
  Antibody titration recommended for optimal performance.

Important Notes

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
  Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains instead.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.
  Add 5 µL per sample before combining antibodies with cells.
  For single-color controls: 5 µL per 100 µL sample with 10³–10⁸ cells.
• NovaFluor conjugates use Phiton™ technology, providing engineered fluorescent signatures with reduced spillover and spread.

Internal testing shows NovaFluor Yellow 660 may non-specifically stain B cells in SJL mice, but not in BALB/c or C57BL/6 strains.
