Product Specific Information

The eBio13G3-19D monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Ly108, the mouse homologue of human SLAMF6. Ly108 (also known as NTB-A) is expressed on NK, T, and B cells. Engagement enhances NK cell activity and IFN-γ expression, and is linked to X-linked lymphoproliferative disease mechanisms.

Staining shows no strain differences between C57BL/6 and BALB/c mice. Other strains not tested.

Each product includes:

  • 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
  • 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes and thymocytes at ≤0.8 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration recommended.

Important Notes:

  • NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
  • Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability testing.
  • CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining. Add 5 µL per sample or per 100 µL of cell suspension (10³–10⁸ cells).

NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology, enabling engineered fluorescent signatures optimized for minimal spillover and spread.

Excitation: 552 nm
Emission: 690 nm
Laser: 561 nm (Yellow)

Internal testing indicates non-specific staining of B cells in SJL mice with NovaFluor Yellow 755; not observed in BALB/c or C57BL/6 strains.


Target Information

Ly108 is the mouse homologue of human SLAMF6, expressed on NK, B, and T cells. Activation enhances NK cell activity and IFN-γ expression.
