Product Specific Information
This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, canine, mouse, porcine, and rat based on sequence homology.
Tested in Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 4,000.
Target Information
The BCL7A gene is directly involved, with Myc and IgH, in a three-way gene translocation in a Burkitt lymphoma cell line. This translocation disrupts the N-terminal region of the gene product, which may contribute to the pathogenesis of certain high-grade B cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
The N-terminal segment involved shares strong sequence similarity with BCL7B and BCL7C.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
