Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
CD22 (BL-CAM) is a type I integral membrane glycoprotein (130–140 kDa) expressed in the cytoplasm and membrane of B-lymphocytes.
It appears early in B-cell differentiation alongside CD19 and is restricted to mature B cells (CD22+) and plasma cells (CD22−).
CD22 is strongly expressed in hairy cell leukemia, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and nodular lymphocyte predominance Hodgkin’s lymphoma, but negative in classical Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
It preferentially binds α2,6-linked sialic acid and participates in B-cell receptor signaling regulation via tyrosine phosphorylation.
