For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD22 (BL-CAM) is a type I integral membrane glycoprotein (130–140 kDa) expressed in both the cytoplasm and membrane of B-lymphocytes.
It appears early in B-cell differentiation, similar to CD19, and is expressed in mature B cells but not in plasma cells.
CD22 is strongly expressed in hairy cell leukemia, and positive in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and nodular lymphocyte predominance Hodgkin’s lymphoma, but negative in classical Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

CD22 binds preferentially to α2,6-linked sialic acid, and its binding site can be masked by cis interactions.
Upon ligand-induced phosphorylation, CD22 regulates B-cell receptor signaling through interactions with Src family kinases and phosphatases, acting as both a positive and inhibitory modulator of B-cell activation.
