The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 96% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
HOXD13 (homeobox protein D13) is a transcription factor belonging to the homeobox protein family. In vertebrates, homeobox genes are organized into clusters (A, B, C, and D) on four separate chromosomes. Expression of these proteins is tightly regulated during embryonic development. The HOXD13 gene, located in the D cluster on chromosome 2, is critical for limb and genital formation. Deletions or mutations in this gene are associated with developmental abnormalities such as synpolydactyly.
