Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They combine multiple recombinant monoclonal antibodies to deliver both the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies and the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, with the consistency of recombinant production.
These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance proteins. Each lot is produced with a defined mixture of heavy and light chains, minimizing biological variability.

Target Information

Connexin-36 (CX36) is a member of the connexin gene family predominantly expressed in mammalian neurons. Connexins assemble in groups of six to form connexons, which pair to create gap junction intercellular channels. Mutations in connexin genes can cause functional and developmental abnormalities.
