Target Information

ERK1 and ERK2 are widely expressed kinases involved in regulating meiosis, mitosis, and postmitotic functions in differentiated cells.
They are activated by various stimuli, including growth factors, cytokines, viral infection, and G protein-coupled receptor ligands.
Upon activation, ERK1/2 phosphorylate cytoplasmic and nuclear targets such as transcription factors c-Fos and Elk-1, mediating key signaling pathways.
