Product Specific Information

The eBio1D3 (1D3) monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD19, a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on B cells during development (excluding plasma cells). Follicular dendritic cells also express CD19. CD19 forms a complex with CD21, CD81, and MHC class II, associating with BCR to regulate signaling, phosphorylation, calcium flux, and proliferation of B cells.

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Mouse splenocytes, ≤ 0.1 µg/test (100 µL final volume)

NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., PI, 7-AAD, DAPI).
Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains instead.

CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.

• Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails.
• For single-color controls: 5 µL per 100 µL cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).

NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology, based on nucleic acid dye structures engineered for optimized fluorescence and minimal spillover.

Target Information

CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on all peripheral B cells and some myeloid leukemia cells. CD19 acts as a signal-amplifying coreceptor for BCR, regulating B cell activation and proliferation.
Mutations lead to hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression causes B cell hyperactivity.
