Product Specific Information

The eBio1D3 (1D3) monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD19, a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on B cells throughout development except plasma cells, and on follicular dendritic cells. CD19 forms a complex with CD21, CD81, and MHC class II, modulating BCR signaling and B cell activation.

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes; ≤ 0.1 µg/test recommended.
Optimal titration is advised.

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are incompatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.
• Add 5 µL of blocking buffer per sample before combining with cells.

Target Information

CD19 is a transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on all peripheral B cells and some myeloid leukemia cells. CD19 functions as a co-receptor with BCR, lowering the activation threshold for antigen stimulation and regulating B cell proliferation. Mutations cause hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression leads to B cell hyperactivity.
