Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody 1C2 recognizes mouse and rat CD42d, also known as platelet glycoprotein V (GPV).
CD42d interacts with CD42a, CD42b, and CD42c to form the receptor for von Willebrand factor and thrombin, playing a key role in platelet adhesion.
Expression of CD42d is restricted to resting platelets and megakaryocytes, making it a reliable marker for megakaryocyte development.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse platelets
- Recommended Usage: ≤ 0.5 µg per test (100 µL final volume)
- Excitation: 633–647 nm
- Emission: 660 nm
- Laser: Red Laser
- Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered
Target Information
Natural killer (NK) cells in teleosts are a distinct lymphocyte subpopulation, differing from B- and T-cells.
They play a crucial role in innate immunity by releasing cytokines that activate other immune functions.
Monoclonal antibodies help identify NK cell surface antigens and their functional subsets.
The Cluster of Differentiation (CD) nomenclature standardizes NK cell marker identification.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
