Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened for optimal production. Advantages include:

Target Information

Histone H2A.X (H2AX) is a member of the histone H2A family forming part of the nucleosome core particle. Upon DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs), phosphorylation occurs at Ser139, generating gamma-H2AX. This modification can be detected by Western blotting or immunofluorescence to assess DSB frequency.
Phosphorylation may involve kinases such as ATM, DNA-PK, and ATR. H2A.X consists of 143 amino acids and contributes to chromatin structure and DNA repair mechanisms. It maps to the 11q23.2–q23.3 region of the human chromosome.
