Target Information
B cell linker protein (BLNK), also known as SLP-65, is encoded by the BLNK gene on human chromosome 10. It functions as an adaptor protein in the B cell receptor signaling cascade. Phosphorylation of BLNK by Syk kinase enables interaction with signaling intermediaries such as Vav GEF and Grb2. Deficiency of BLNK can lead to improper B cell development.
