Product Specific Information

Description:
The M1/69 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD24 (Heat Stable Antigen, HSA), a 35–50 kDa GPI-anchored membrane protein expressed on erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid lineage cells. CD24 expression varies due to glycosylation heterogeneity and is used to define B-cell developmental stages in mouse bone marrow. It has been reported that P-selectin (CD62P) binds to CD24.

Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤ 0.25 µg per test (defined as antibody amount per 100 µL cell sample). Optimal titration is recommended per assay.

Fluorochrome Information:
Alexa Fluor 532 is excited by a 532 nm green laser and emits at 561 nm. Not compatible with 561 nm yellow-green laser. Recommended filter: 560/14 bandpass.

Target Information

CD24 is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed during multiple stages of B-cell development, from pro-B cells to mature B cells, with minimal expression in plasma cells. It is also present in most B-lineage leukemias, CCLs, and non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. CD24 may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity control.
