Product Specific Information
The 6H6 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD123, the alpha chain of the IL-3 receptor.
This 60–70 kDa transmembrane protein binds IL-3 with low affinity by itself and with high affinity when associated with CD131 (common beta chain).
CD123 is expressed by myeloid precursors, macrophages, dendritic cells, mast cells, basophils, and megakaryocytes.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometry on normal human peripheral blood cells
- Use at 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, cell number 10⁵–10⁸/test)
Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 661 (BUV661) is a tandem dye that emits at 660 nm and is designed for use with cytometers equipped with a 355 nm UV laser.

Staining and Buffer Recommendations

Target Information
IL-3Ra (Interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha) is part of the type I cytokine receptor family.
It forms a heterodimer with the common beta chain (CDw131) for IL-3 signal transduction.
Heterodimerization is induced by IL-3 and is essential for receptor activation.
IL-3Ra subunits are reported to be overexpressed in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) blasts compared with normal hematopoietic cells, making them potential therapeutic targets.
