Target Information
TRIB3 (also known as TRB-3, SINK, SKIP3) is a mammalian homologue of the Tribbles family that regulates mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) activity. Overexpression inhibits NF-κB-dependent transcription induced by TNF stimulation but does not affect NF-κB nuclear translocation or DNA binding. TRIB3/SKIP3 is overexpressed in multiple human tumors and regulated by hypoxia.
