Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues, heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Cathepsin K는 뼈 재형성과 흡수에 관여하는 리소좀 시스테인 단백질분해효소로, peptidase C1 단백질 패밀리에 속합니다. 주로 파골세포에서 발현되며, 일부 유방암에서도 발현되어 종양 침습성에 기여할 수 있습니다.
이 유전자의 돌연변이는 골경화와 단신을 특징으로 하는 상염색체 열성 질환인 pycnodysostosis의 원인입니다. 또한 RNA 편집의 영향을 받을 수 있습니다.
